BROKEN CIRCLE

A turned circle of poplar and simulated ebony, broken open at the center top, rests on a walnut base. Hanging from the two open portions is a crocheted basket of wool, acrylic, and mohair, lined in lame jersey fabric.

Size: About nine inches high (a twenty-five-cent piece rests on the base to give some sense of scale.)
